SCAA was founded in 1927 for Airedale Lovers from all over to come together and enjoy the breed. One of our club's most enjoyable activities our annual June Specialty Show and Puppy Sweepstakes, held in conjunction with the Great Western Terrier Association shows. Judging is followed by a luncheon put on by the Club Members. The Queen Mary Events Park - Long Beach (where the show is currently held) lends to a pleasant atmosphere for members and interested spectators to visit and learn.

Our quarterly meetings afford an opportunity for usual business and planning for our yearly show and fundraisers. In the end, as breeders, exhibitors, and members, we continue to mark out year by year, a double future and past - that of our club and that of our breed - but mostly, we hope, that of our breed,
